Clery compliance on American campuses: Knowledge and organization by Clery Compliance Officers

DStafford Mock > Clery compliance on American campuses: Knowledge and organization by Clery Compliance Officers

Researchers from D. Stafford & Associates (DSA), the National Association of Clery Compliance Officers and Professionals (NACCOP) and Old Dominion University (ODU) conducted an original research study exploring Clery Act compliance practices at institutions of higher education.

The study was completed in collaboration with the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), as members of IACLEA served as respondents in the study.

This is the first study of its kind exploring the practices of Clery Compliance Officers with a focus on issues that could undermine an institution’s compliance efforts. The study has been published in the Security Journal, which is an international, peer reviewed scholarly journal. The publisher holds the copyright to the published article; thus, we cannot provide it directly.
